DESCRIPTION:Data Enthusiasts Wanted!\nAre you a tech-savvy data enthusiast looking to level up your skills AND make a difference?\n  \nAt Johnson & Johnson’s Black Technology Professionals’ third annual HealthTech Hack\, you’ll hack alongside diverse students\, including those from historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs)\, and Johnson & Johnson professionals to solve real-world healthcare challenges.\nEnhance Your Academic Experience\nThe J&J HealthTech Hack is designed to cultivate future tech leaders; the hackathon provides a hands-on opportunity for you to leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to innovate and transform healthcare—applying what you learned in the classroom directly in a workplace environment.\nSupport and mentorship for this hackathon will be provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will create your solutions in the cloud using state of the art computing technologies\, and automated model training tools from AWS as well as computing languages such as Python.\nSpecifically\, you’ll drive solutions in the areas of healthcare.\n\nEarly Diabetic Retinopathy\nContestants will receive a series of annotated images. They will use these images to classify if the patient shows signs of nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR). NPDR is also known as Background diabetic retinopathy. This condition is an early sign of diabetes.\nJ&J Vision: https://www.jjvision.com/products-and-services\n\nPredict the patient’s autoimmune disease based on a set of triggers\nContestants will receive a data set that contains several autoimmune vectors. This data set also includes trackable information about a patient’s triggers. Ankylosing Spondylitis is an inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine and large joints.\nJ&J Janssen: Simponi Aria\n\nIn addition\, you’ll hear keynote addresses from J&J business and technology leaders\, engage in cutting-edge technology workshops from our technology partners\, and gain access to future J&J recruiting events and mentorship opportunities.
